This pleasant fruit tree is great when potted on a balcony or patio, and can also be planted in open soil. Pollination: self pollinating but mutual pollination is also also possible. This tree can be planted at any time of year and requires little care. Provide the tree with a generous amount of organic fertilizer in February and autumn.  Growing your own fruit is not only environmentally friendly, but therapeutic and fun too! The Dwarf/Patio variety will only grow to around 5-6ft so they're perfect for balconies and patios, taking 10-15 years to achieve their maximum height.
